Who We Are

Our Board of Directors is a passionate team of individuals with a mission to provide senior and special needs cats with the care, love, and quality of life they deserve.

  • Holly Harvey

    FOUNDER AND CHAIR

Holly Harvey founded Special Souls Feline Foundation after witnessing the incredible joy that adopting senior and special needs cats can bring to both the cats and their adopters. With a deep passion for animal welfare, Holly previously worked at a non-profit cat rescue organization, where she saw firsthand how senior and special needs cats are often overlooked in favor of kittens and healthy adult cats.

Prior to founding Special Souls, Holly served as a U.S. Air Force officer for nine years before continuing her career with the CIA for six years. Drawn to other mission-oriented work, she then began working for the USO overseas, first in Afghanistan and later in the UAE, supporting service members stationed abroad.

Holly brings years of leadership and management expertise, along with a deep commitment to mission-driven work, to her efforts in advocating for senior and special needs cats.
